MavEngine’s CrosswordEngine is a professional, slick, cross-platform crossword puzzle creator and client for news publishers.
The Creator helps you design crosswords, without taking the skill and magic away from the traditional crossword editor. It’s quick to transcribe external crosswords, using “#” for blank spaces. If you’re designing in the tool from scratch, the “symmetry” feature will keep your grid in 180º symmetry. A basic word list will assist you in finding matching words.
