MavEngine’s CrosswordEngine is a professional, slick, cross-platform crossword puzzle creator and client for news publishers.

The Client is very much inspired by (but not a copy of) the New York Times’ crossword client. As such, it’s lovely to play, with a smooth transition between blocks and words.

It features helpers (but no solver, we don’t think that should be a feature) and the ability to print the grid if you prefer to solve with pen-and-paper.

The client supports mobile and desktop, and is incredibly only 8.1kB big!
